Elon has been in the fitness industry for over 8 years. His love for health and fitness led him to pursue a career as a personal trainer. As a trainer, he educated and motivated over 100 clients to reach their ultimate health and fitness goals. Many of these former clients still send him annual Christmas cards to thank him.

Elon is always attending seminars and classes to stay up to date on all of the fitness industries newest changes. As DNA’s Health Centre Director Elon now has a chance to impact a larger number of lives through his knowledge, optimism and infectious enthusiasm.

Barbara stumbled upon the world of strength training through her experience with fashion modeling. Shortly after falling in love with training, she ended up ditching fashion for fitness to truly immerse herself in the field. Today, she strives to become an exceptional trainer by learning and bettering herself as much as possible.

Over the last few years, Barbara has found a passion for empowering and educating women through strength training. Her mission is to help women appreciate and enjoy the process of attaining a strong body and mind.

Barbara is currently working towards completing her degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Becca was introduced to weight training as a part of a recovery plan following a lengthy illness. After experiencing the positive effects that weight training had on her long term health Becca was inspired to become a personal trainer. Becca’s training ‘style’ has evolved over time to combine several techniques but she is firm in her belief of client education. Ultimately her goal is to create confident, knowledgeable, and self-sufficient everyday athletes.

I was first introduced to exercise when I was about 13 through competitive cheerleading and dance. Those activities were my life and soon I was doing my own at home workouts as well. In my last year of high school I joined my first gym with a friend and never looked back. I loved the confidence and feeling of accomplishment exercise gave me. It was something that I could be good at as long as I put in the work. Unlike dance and cheerleading, I didn’t need a certain body type, personality or extreme talent to be really good at it. Anyone can exercise and anyone can be fit with some dedication and consistency.

I followed my love of fitness when I went to university graduating with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology from Brock University. During my university years I also became a certified personal trainer with CanFitPro. I continued my educated at York University where I am currently completing my Masters of Fitness Science. I have experience working special populations such MS, spinal cord and cardiac patients. I love doing fitness and my goal is help other learn to love it too through all the benefits exercise has to offer.

Javier’s whole life has revolved around athletics. He started gymnastics at the age of 6, played competitive soccer until 14, and began weight training at 18 years of age. Javier has been in competitive sports for the last 20 years and continues to do so as a Professional Body Builder. He has 15 1st-place titles, including 5 time winner of the Canadian National Championship, as well as representing Canada in the World Natural Body Building competition in Russia in 2004. Apart from being a competitor himself he also works as a Certified Personal Trainer with Olympic Power Lifting and Martial Arts background, he has helped numerous individuals reach their goals and live a healthier and happier life.

Since childhood, Slavik has been obsessed with health and fitness. He got into fitness because when he was growing up he never had anyone to teach him how to exercise. He promised himself that he will learn how to properly exercise so he can help and educate others on how to take care of themselves. He started working with close friends and family, and, became very popular given the amazing results his clients were receiving. From there he became certified through ISSA (International Sport Sciences Association). Slavik is a strong believer on education and is always striving to learn new ways and techniques of exercising. His biggest personal accomplishment would have to be when he taught himself how to squat and within 1 year reached 405lbs. Slavik dream is to one day be known thought out the world as one of the best personal trainers.

Back in 2006 with the help of his trainer he achieved fitness goals beyond his greatest expectations which resulted in him competing in the 2007 and 2008 IDFA Canadian Classics.

I work extremely closely with my clients to help them overcome a wide array of challenges and cannot express enough how proud I am of their personal fitness accomplishments. With the diversity of his certifications (pregnancy training, postural awareness and osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes and elderly training certifications, among others) he learned the theory and put it all to use as a Personal Trainer internationally, in such countries so diverse as Portugal, Kuwait and China where he gathered an understanding of a variety of cultures and their relation to this healthy revolution that our society is going through.
